Paramount Pictures is an American film company responsible for the distribution of the Crappington franchise. Paramount is owned by the current version of the media conglomerate Viacom, which is in turn controlled by National Amusements.
Brad Grey, previously a television producer, is the current CEO. It is his intention to establish Paramount as a leading media company again, willing to take risks and lure creative talent back. As part of this venture, he lured Gail Berman into the corporate offices as President.
Its most successful films to date include Saving Private Ryan, The Wolf Of Wall Street, Titanic, The Star Trek franchise, Super 8, The Mission: Impossible films, G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra and its sequel, G.I. Joe: Retaliation, The live-action Transformers film series, and World War Z.
